Our Mission

Our Mission · The Regenerative Manufacturing Organism

The world’s first carbon-negative regenerative manufacturing facility.

Not carbon-neutral through purchased offsets. Carbon-negative by engineering — built from salvage, powered by waste, grown from soil.

The problem we’re solving.

Modern agriculture and self-care industries are systematically undermining their most vital foundation: living soil. Both sectors share a critical flaw — they sever our relationship with the land while simultaneously degrading it. The consequences are not merely concerning — they are catastrophic.

24 billion

tons of fertile soil lost annually, far exceeding natural soil formation

33%

of global farmland already degraded by erosion, chemicals, desertification

98.5%

of honey samples now contain glyphosate — a measure of how deep the contamination runs

85%

of supplement brands are not vertically integrated — contaminated inputs become “medicine”

The Cities as Organisms design — five layered systems.

Healthy biological organisms don’t rely on a single energy source or storage mechanism. They process energy in layers, store it in different forms for different time horizons, and eliminate waste by converting outputs into inputs. The facility is designed on the same principles.

Layer 1 · Nervous System

Milliseconds to seconds

SMES, flywheels from salvaged motors — grid stabilization in real time.

Layer 3 · Skeleton

Minutes to hours

Gravity storage — concrete blocks from local aggregate, infinite cycle life.

Layer 4 · Organs

Hours to days

Microhydro + thermal storage — 24/7 baseload from the Rogue River corridor.

Layer 5 · Fat Reserves

Days to months

Biogas digester + sodium-ion. Food waste becomes fuel; waste becomes power.

Four closed loops. One organism.

Loop 1 — Waste. Restaurant food scraps feed the biogas digester. Anaerobic digestion produces methane-rich fuel. The CO₂ released is biogenic — atmospheric carbon from weeks ago, not fossil carbon from underground. Digestate becomes fertilizer. The waste stream becomes the primary energy asset.

Loop 2 — Energy. Vertical axis wind turbines wound from salvaged washing machine motors. Microhydro on the Rogue River. Gravity storage in concrete blocks. Sodium-ion batteries. No solar panels. No lithium. No mining supply chain.

Loop 3 — Soil. 475 acres managed regeneratively becomes a continuous carbon sink. No-till, cover crops, biochar, perennials, diverse polycultures. Each percentage point of soil organic matter represents thousands of tons of carbon sequestered permanently.

Loop 4 — Inputs. Hemp grown through brownfield remediation becomes hempcrete for the walls, biochar for the soil, kraft paper for packaging. Local glass recycled on-site into product bottles. Botanicals grown by Sacred Earth and the certified homestead network.

The co-packing layer.

Once the facility is operational, Sacred Earth offers premium regenerative co-packing to aligned brands. Traditional co-manufacturing is disconnected from sourcing and sustainability. Regenerative co-packing is: Production + Ecology + Transparency + Story. Every product manufactured in the system is rooted in regeneratively grown inputs, closed-loop waste systems, and renewable energy infrastructure.
