Cory, & the Vision of Sacred Earth Farms.

From a bus in the woods of Mt. Shasta to a seven-generation regenerative enterprise in the Rogue Valley — the long road to Sacred Earth Farms.

Born in a cabin in Mt. Shasta.

I was born in an unsanctioned cabin in the middle of the woods of Mt Shasta on Dec 11th 1992, just after one of the largest snow storms in history. When my mom wanted to labor my dad had to ski all the way into town to get the midwife because the car was completely buried. He and the Midwife had to ski back down the road to get to me but by the time they got there I was already born.

I was raised by rainbow hippy parents who idolized the Free-Living outdoor gypsy life. My dad always said that “living in a box is like living in prison” so we lived in a bus and traveled around to rainbow gatherings until my parents split when I was only 2 years old. I’ve been in and out of homelessness since I was a child and went dumpster diving for food weekly.

The permaculture immersion that rewired everything.

When I was 19 I moved to Ashland Oregon and lived out of my backpack wandering aimlessly, couchsurfing, and going to festivals trying to find my purpose until my Grandpa died in 2015 and I got an inheritance. I used some of that money to take a permaculture immersion course and it completely rewired my brain, showing me the patterns of Nature and how the world actually worked. I left that event with a Newfound sense of purpose and I knew exactly what I needed to do in my life: help heal the soil and teach others how to do the same.

A staph infection, and the first salve.

In 2017 I got a really bad staph infection that nearly consumed my ankle. I got prescribed antibiotics but my distrust for the medical system and my desire to create truly effective products led me to create my first CBD salve — which took away my staph infection in a few days. That made me realize how much more effective plants are at healing than Pharmaceuticals.

When I started Sacred Earth Farms in 2020 I was experiencing really bad sciatica pain so I made a pain relief version and called it Blessed Body Budder. To this day it is my most sold product. I’ve had people say it works within seconds. Women say it takes away their menstrual cramps. Anyone who’s experienced chronic pain says it works unlike anything else.

The vision became NovaGaia.

I’m not just designing a business for myself — I’m designing a replicable model that can be implemented in any community, in any climate, to completely revitalize the economies and the ecology all around the world. We can create an interconnected network of regenerative communities that transform the entire planet. The ultimate vision I hold behind this is what I call NovaGaia — the New Earth. Not one of my own, but a collective vision that God has bestowed upon us all who hold in our hearts a world that we wish to live in. One that is so much better than the current one that it makes the old obsolete.

“No one can do everything, but everyone can do something, and together we can change the world.”
